America250 Begins: Trump Promises Show-Stopping Celebration 

As the US nears its 250th birthday, Trump will kick off the America250 festivities on July 3 in Iowa, promising a grand lead-up to 2026’s historic Independence Day. 

United States: With American plans made over the Fourth of July 2025 commemoration, others are already thinking of 2026 when the country celebrates its 250th birthday. 

President Donald Trump promised that there would be a lot of pomp and circumstance surrounding the semi-quincentennial, which would begin with the Fourth of July of 2026 and finish in 2026, and Trump indicated that the celebration under his own leadership would be reaching extraordinary heights.

Trump will visit Iowa on July 3 this year to launch the celebration of the 250th birthday of America, and it is his first trip to the first-in-the-nation GOP caucus state since he returned to the White House. 

In 2026, America is going to have its semi-quincentennial that will climax on Independence Day, July 4, 2026. 

Nonetheless, the America250 kickoff opens in 2025 at 5 p.m. CT, Thursday, July 3, at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, USA Today reported. 

At 7:30 p.m. CT, Trump will make comments on the initiative within the fairgrounds. 

This is a free event, and to reserve a place, people are required to fill in the requisite online form on the America250 online space. 

The America250 website lists a commission in each state, US territory, and D.C. to plan, coordinate, and support commemorative activities. 

America250 will include links to the plan of each state once web pages are available. 

By July 2, links to all but Florida, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, and Oklahoma were to be found, as USA Today reported. 

On July 4, 1776, 249 years ago, the Declaration of Independence was adopted by the US Continental Congress.
